DESCRIPTION: ALKEN CLEAR-FLOŽ 7110 is a liquid suspension formulation comprising strains of bacteria capable of nitrifying ammonia nitrogen. Typically, injecting an inoculum of concentrated ALKEN CLEAR-FLOŽ 7110 brings a system, deficient in nitrifying bacteria, up to required levels within 3-10 days while reducing total ammonia by 70-90%. This formula is also useful for oxidizing dimethyl ether and methyl fluoride. ALKEN CLEAR-FLOŽ 7110 finds application in industrial treatment facilities associated with petroleum refineries, steel and coking works, meat processors and chemical manufacturers, all of which tend to generate high concentrations of ammonia in their wastewater. Domestic sewage treatment plants which lack a well established microbial population at start-up, or overwhelmed by a system upset, brought about by illegal dumping into sewage lines or by other causes, can also benefit from the use of ALKEN CLEAR-FLOŽ 7110. |
